First Friday January Meeting

Capclave Present: Convention season is kicking off. Cathy Green at Arisia, Bill Lawhorn and Sarah Mitchell at Convivial. Capclave present still has staff positions to fill, please volunteer. Will be having lunch at our hotel on Friday January 26 so we can walk through function space and think about space allocation/function room allocation.

Capclave Future: Talked to Colette re: hotel and is following up with her.

WSFA Small Press Award: admin Carolyn Frank reported that the first submission came in at 11:45pm on January 2. Angela made a form to collect the information we need, which makes things much easier for Carolyn as admin, although some people have filled out the form and forgotten to attach the story.

Committee to Actually Discuss SF: Will meet in zoom breakout room to discuss Nov/Dec Asimov’s. 3rd Friday will discuss Dec. Lightspeed. 1st Friday February will discuss Nov/Dec F&SF; 3 rd Friday February will discuss Feb Clarkesworld.
